Instructor, Electrical Apprenticeship - Immediate Vacancies and Rolling Panel 

GRETB are seeking applications from suitably qualified candidates for the post of Instructor, Electrical Apprenticeship, Phase 2 with immediate vacancies to be filled in GRETB Training Centre, Mervue, Galway City.  

GRETB are seeking Instructors to deliver professional training for all aspects of the Standards Based Apprenticeship to the prescribed standards and in accordance with the relevant syllabus.

• Teastas Náisiúnta Ceardaíochta, nó a chomhionann, chomh maith le trí bliana ar a laghad de thaithí ábhartha iar-phrintíseachta. Tá taithí oiliúna, teagaisc nó múinteoireachta roimhe seo agus Cailíocht Oiliúna aitheanta inmhianaithe ach níl riachtanach;
• Ardleibhéal taithí agus saineolais maidir le Breisoideachas agus Oiliúint;
• Eolas leathan ar an Earnáil Phoiblí sa mhéid is go mbaineann sé leis an réimse oibre seo;
• Sárscileanna cumarsáide ó bhéal agus scríofa;
• Sárscileanna ríomhaireachta agus riaracháin;
• A bheith toilteanach uaireanta solúbtha a oibriú lasmuigh de ghnáthuaireanta oifige;
• Ceadúnas tiomána iomlán agus glan, agus rochtain ar charr.

• A National Craft Certificate or equivalent, together with a minimum of three years’ relevant post apprenticeship experience.  Previous training, instructing or teaching experience and a recognised Training Qualification is desirable but not essential;    
• A high level of knowledge and expertise in the area of Further Education and Training;    
• Broad Public Sector knowledge relevant to this area of work;    
• Excellent oral and written communication skills;    
• Excellent ICT and administration skills;
• Willingness to work flexible hours outside of normal office hours;
• Full clean driving licence and access to a car.
